Kmonaefierce Let’s Go on a Coffee Date (or three)
It’s your girl Kmonaefierce coming to you all the way from Newark, New Jersey to give you the 411 on the cutest cafes in North New Jersey. Now, let me just give you a disclaimer, I am not a heavy coffee drinker however, I love a good mocha and latte– if any of you want to fill me in, slide in my DM right now. Cafe de Floral Bar – Bloomfield, NJ
Ugh! Ok! This cafe is by far my new fav. If you want a girl boss vibe, with good drinks and pastries, Cafe de la Floral is the place to be. Let’s also not forget, you can build your own bouquet of flowers to take home with you, and take endless selfies with the floral/glam aesthetic in the background. Sihana Cafe – Newark (Ironbound), NJ
One of my favorite places to sit for an extended period of time to eat, read and work. Sihana Cafe has breakfast, lunch/dinner menus, plus they have a good amount of seating! Also if you’re ever there for lunch or dinner, you can bring your own bottle (byob) to enjoy.

Black Swan Espresso – Newark, NJ
I was recently introduced to this place by a friend who happens to be an avid reader and coffee drinker– I see why this is his favorite place. Black Swan Espresso not only has some good coffee, but they also have a mission to promote arts and literature. They have a “bring a book, take a book system” which is amazing, and they feature local art (for purchase) in the cafe.

Inner City Cafe – Orange, NJ
Another great local coffee shop where you can get your caffeine fix and work done all at the same time. Inner City Cafe has a glam-chic vibe, and you can definitely count on their record playing playlist to be on point. This cafe is the perfect getaway if you work from home and you need a place to escape to with some good coffee and tasty treats.

Sugartree Cafe – Nutley, NJ
By now, you guys know I’m a sucker for aesthetics so I have another Insta worthy place to introduce you to. Sugartree Cafe has it all, I mean flowers hanging from the ceiling, milkshakes, wings, literally everything. What more could you ask for? Oh yeah, they have coffee, lol. Just so you know, it gets pretty busy in this place, and there’s no reservations so plan accordingly. *watch my reel experience here*
