Let’s Sparkle this Summer
Summer has arrived and Kmonaefierce is here to make sure it sparkles! If you know me, by now you know that I’m all about a sparkling drink. It’s something about the fizz and carbonation that just resonates with my tastes buds. So now that summertime has made its entrance, I feel the need to share my go-to bubbly beverages. My favorite part about this category of beverages is there’s so much variety. If you want to keep it light, fresh, healthy or get a little mixy you can. There’s sparkling water, kombucha, and of course my all time favorite, Prosecco. For those who just like to stay cool, with sips of bubbly reminders of why you came outside, this list is for you!
Something Light, Not Too Much: Sparkling Water
We all need water to survive, it’s a constant that can become boring. Since it’s a necessity to live we can’t just cut it out, but we can add something to the mix. Adding flavor to water is cute, but adding a little carbonation is genius– and also Fierce verified! The reason I love sparkling water is because I love sprite, yet it is packed with sugar. Coming from a health conscious twenty something I decided to explore something similar but healthier. With a plethora of sparkling water brands, these are the ones that made the cut:
Nixie
Bubly
LaCroix
San Pellegrino
Poppi
Perrier
Getting a Little Jazzy: Kombucha
Let’s kick it up a notch and talk about my other fav, Kombuch. From what I know, Kombucha can also be a healthy solution to soda. It’s fermented tea, and it’s high in probiotics. Now, I’m not a nutritionist but it does help with other things such as digestion, and inflammation. I reserve this beverage for moments when I want to feel a little jazzy, and add some sweetness to my day. Of course I have some favorites I recommend you to taste:
Health-Ade
Kevita
Synergey
Koe
Remedy
Pop the Top Off: Prosecco
In the words of my good sis Beyonce, “I took the top off”, because that’s exactly what this drink calls for! Prosecco is a sparkling wine mostly made in the Veneto region of Italy. Many compare it to champagne, but fun fact: wine can only be called Champagne only if it comes from the region of Champagne. They have similarities however, my personal preference is Prosecco. It is a bit on the sweeter side and is perfect for drinking solo or mixed. If you want to be a Prosecco Princess like myself, start here:
Let’s Sparkle Together
In conclusion, I hope that you have a sparkling summer, and that it is safe and full of bubbly beverages because, why not? Don’t forget to share this with a friend you want to have a popping summer.
