The Bonita Project x Bonita Amplifies
Latin-Owned PR agency, The Bonita Project hosted its first influencer mixer in Brooklyn, New York during Black History Month and it was top tier. This event brought together a diverse group of BIPOC influencers from the beauty, fashion, and lifestyle industries to network with brands and connect them with potential partnerships.
This event was an amazing opportunity for minority creators to increase their connections, get acquainted more with the world of influencer marketing, and for brands to engage with some fresh faces. With social media becoming increasingly important for businesses, this mixer provides a unique platform for both parties to come together and start meaningful conversations that can lead to successful collaborations.
For everyone in the room, this was a special moment because BIPOC get overlooked and undervalued often when it comes to influencer & campaign marketing. It was refreshing, inspirational and very much needed!
Bonita in the Building
The room was full of great energy, talent, and strangers that quickly connected as if they’d know one another for a lifetime. A mixture of brand representatives, talent agents from Estée Lauder, Fohr, SEEN Group, iD Magazine and other thriving companies filled the room. Not to mention minority influencers of all backgrounds were hand picked to participate in the kick-off Bonita Amplifies Mixers. As you can see from the recap video– we all had a time!
Bonita Sponsors & Vendors
One thing about Bonita Amplifies is they did just that– The Bonita Project team amplified the event with all the finishing touches and each sponsor and vendor set the tone for the evening. For starters, the event was sponsored by Urban Decay Cosmetics and each attendant was gifted with a gift bag full of their products that I can’t wait to use. And let’s not forget about the vendors involved who also made this a memorable experience; Lips Cafe (venue), Eduardo Holguin (photographer), Brie on the Chisme (charcuterie), and DJ Jazminn Lavish. I’m sure I can speak for all guests when I say “When is the next event”?– no, srsly!
